power steering for a 76 HJ45

Hi I want to convert my hj45 rhd to power steering. does anyone know what unit etc I should be buying and where to get it Thanks..... Jim

Hi and welcome I have used hj60 power steering box and pump and bits you can get the bits of Andy Lomas he is on the forums hope it helps and good look with it 45 r the best from Tony.

so I've found a Landcruiser 60 that is being broken up . he will sell me the power steering .is it definatly compatible with an hj45

The tie rod ends r a bit bigger on hj60 you will have to change them all a bit of cutting and welding will fix it up .
