Julian - if Clive is on the list still.
Hey Clive,
Did you know that your virus software has let in something nasty that is
broadcasting 'Bagel' to your mailing list from your old address?
Have tried to mail you off list about it but I get it bounced back.
Cheers

Jon,
Thanks for telling me. I was made redundant in September and my
old address died with that, so did my possesion of their laptop. As
long as it's not affecting my new PC I am not concerned. If my old
address is still on their server it may be a not used thing?
Regards, Clive.
New mail is '[Email address removed]'

Jon and all, Never trust the sending email address when you receive a
virus, the chances are that it has been spoofed by the actual virus.
The only way to tell who the sender is, is to check the header and
determine the original sending mail server and then cross check to see
who might be using it.
If the message claimed to come from Clive, the chances are it either
came from someone on this list or the 80s list - both of which you are
on.
If you ever want help tracking things like this down, drop me a message
off line.
