Are the props the same in the diesel and petrol models I.e. a rear from the petrol will fit the rear for a diesel? and any difference for the pre '02?

Then any suggestions on sources for new?

I would expect petrol to be different to diesel pre 02, and 4 speed to 5 speed, because they're different gearboxes. It's the lengths that will change. You could check part numbers on toyodiy to confirm? I'd refurbish 2nd hand from a breaker. I'm guessing shipping would be prohibitive to buy new from abroad.

I remember Chris having a new prop custom made at a place in Rotherham, Propshaft Technology its called. Chris thought it was very reasonably priced. The point is, whilst I'm not suggesting you come all the way to Rotherham, there must be an equivalent place locally to you to carry out the same.
