Hi,
I've had this bumper for five years. I can confirm the design is quite
robust but the materials and finish are poor - an M14 bolt holding the
spare wheel bracket has snapped (low grade steel). Also, the swing arm
lock pin has broken. After a few years patches of powder coating
finish have come off with a thick layer of rust. If you don't mind
such minor and cosmetic faults, the bumper will certainly take a lot
of beating.

Hi,
also got an IEF Engineering bumper on my troopy. Fully agree -
locking pin mechanism is not the best, but it certainly is solid.
Pretty awful lights I found (especially in this day of cheap,
waterproof LEDs) so I stuck some LEDs on mine. And yup a badge on it
says Outback Extreme. All in all, considering price I was happy
enough, but I do have to admit that the tolerances it was made with
were a touch dodgy. I had to prise open the rear 'wings' that extend
forward with a big jack, and also do quite a lot of shimming for
certain bolts. Like Roman says, minor stuff.
