Does anyone have or know where I can source a rear "square" number plate assembly from a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado/ Colorado?

Thanks

ebay matey, saves faffing about with log book etc...

I think he's after the backing board and lights for this one rather than the number plate itself.

Have you tried Karl or Steff?

Chris

Karl does have a 90 that he is breaking, so he may still have it...

Or get one from Ian Rubie - not fantastically expensive for the shaped plastic. The lights and holder may be more expensive though ...

Also seen them on fleabay

Cheers

You're right. I want to do a "Wildsmith" on my LC100 and mount the thing on my rear spare wheel. Anyone got a number for Karl and Steff?

Thats about the only one I can find at the mo.

When I designed the carrier, I only picked 3 of the 6 holes up thru the wheel with studs to fix the wheel to carrier; there's three nuts welded to the back of the plate into which lengths of threaded bar are fixed with a double/lock nut; these line up to the other three wheel holes to hold the number plate on 8-)

Will try & get some other pics if you wants them.

Thanks Gav, I've been thinking of somewhere to mount a number plate to get it off the rear bumper, I think I may get/make a square one and bolt it direct to the tailgate on the other side from the spare wheel

I love it when a plan comes together. Just come off the phone to Karl and hopefully I'll be sorted very soon, "Wildsmith style".
