Someone thoughtfully fitted this aftermarket ground anchor sometime in the dim and distant and i'm getting tired of dragging it around...

Yes the bottom holes have been cut out, no i don't know why :eusa-hand:
I'd like to keep a bolt on / off tow bar facility of some sort but apart from that i'm open to ideas.
Please feel free to post a picture of any good ideas you've seen before i go and fab up something agricultural as usual

is it just the blade or the whole bar you want to lose? Keeping the bar should delay losing your bumper corners. A 2" receiver hitch is a handy thing to have and not that hard to make? You could chop the blade off and let a 2" internal size box into the existing bar from the top and brace it up to the cross member bolt holes with some 8mm plate?

You can get bolt up ones like this

Or as Jon suggested, let one in like this
