Recommend a mechanic in N.Ireland?

Anybody know of any good Cruiser mechanics in N.Ireland?

Just had a wheel alignment done following installing Pedders lift kit and my castor has changed from +3 degrees pre lift to
-00.70 after.

I have heard of folks not needing a castor correction with mild lifts but this is too far from 3 degree spec for my liking and the handling is not as it should be.

I am looking to fit the 2.5 degree Pedders rubber correction bushes but every bloody 4x4 garage I phone will only touch Landrovers :angry-screaming::angry-screaming:

Any recommendations for mechanics in this part of the world much appreciated.

Cheers,
Dave.

Why do you need a garage to do it? You can easily change bushings yourself. Reciprocating saw cuts most old carriers out and a socket will drive the new one in. If you can do beb you can probably fit correctors...

Wish I could help directly, but its nearly 20 years since I was I that part of the world. There are a couple of places that specialise(d) in Jap 4wd imports, maybe you should ring one of them and find out who they use.

Any 4wd places are usually green oval orientated, but I'mnot sure why they'd refuse to do that, as IRLGW says, bushes are an easy job that any private mechanic that isn't a total dope should be able to do for you

Thanks for replies.
Ok, think I will have a look at doing the work myself if not such a big job.

Another question, with my current negative caster of -00.70 and putting in the Pedders +2.5 degree correction bushes I will still not be over min spec +02.00.

Anybody see any issue with running at less than +2 or should I try to find +3 degree bushes?

Cheers,
Dave.
