I bought some 100 series recovery points to fit a pair at the front. They didn’t come with instructions but seemed simple enough.

Turns out they only fit with the eyelet pointing to the rear of the vehicle and they foul the front bumper when positioned with eyelet forwards.

Questions
Has anyone else encounter this?
Mounting them ”backwards” seems like the pulling force will apply a slight twisting affect, will they be ok?
Anyone got images of them fitted forward facing?

Hmm, they look as though they might be left and right handed, have you tried putting them on opposite sides?

Yes. They just seem about 50mm too long. Bolt holes line up nicely and the supplied bolts are the correct size.

Don’t really fancy getting the grinder out to remove part of the bumper?

I can get some pictures tomorrow if needed.

They were definitely designed to be fitted facing forward so I wouldn't put them on backwards. Can you put a spacer block between the eyelet and the chassis to drop them enough to avoid fouling the bumper?

It might be useful to offer them up and take a photo so we can see problem.

Is that low enough? Once you get a shackle and tow line on there aren't you going to foul the bumper?

Looks nice tho. Love the colour.

Suspect this will work well with a higher bumper
