Remove a towbar

This is probably bordering on sacrilege, but is it easy to remove a tow-bar from a 2007 LC4?

Toyota want £90 + VAT to do it and gave me some dire warnings about wrecking the electrics, especially the reversing lights?

Well I installed my own towbar using a Toyota electircal kit, and it was pretty straight forward. Biggest problem was figuring out how to remove the rear bumper, but after that it was relativly easy.

Probably took me around 3-4 hours to do, so at £90 it's not that expensive, just depends on how much your time is worth to you....

Dead simple - bumper comes off in 5 minutes. 15 minutes for the rest depending on how the wiring was done ... 5 minutes to get the bumper (it's just the plastic cover) back on ...

Oh - you have parking sensors so a little longer for those
