removing stereo

any tips on removing the double din sony stereo ?

getting a newer stereo and have never removed this type of stereo before.

Should be straight forward. The facia pulls out from the bottom up, remove the ashtray, and then pull it from the bottom. Few clips hold it in place.

Once the facia piece is out should be 4 screws that hold the radio in place

2 screws in the top of the ashtray then 6 clips 2 at the bottom 2 in the middle and 2 at the top just pull from the bottom gently and it just pops out.

2 screws in the top of the ashtray

Those screws are only for the ashtray, they don´t keep the panel. So forget these!
