roof rack ladders

Why not get the bolt on ladder rungs that fit on the D pillar?
If you look on the archive we discussed this a few months ago. I have
a picture of a TLC with them fitted I can send direct, but they can
be found on sites selling equipment for overlanding etc. No ladder
and no obstruction to any doors or tailgate, you step onto it from
the corner of the bumper.

In my experience permanent ladders encourage kids in some parts of Africa to
treat the back of your car like a climbing frame - and you can't see them if
you are fully loaded...

Hi Jon,
Rebeccah is afte3r a side ladder - she will have a roof tent at the
back - trying to go up the D pillar and then past the tent when open
would be interesting to say the least ;-)
