With some most helpfull pointers from Jon, SuperMod, the front suspention is again in bits.
ARB going into front diff
She`ll be fully locked soon.
Very much contemplating to fit a diff drop kit. The CV-lord will thank me

I have the bushed fot the steering rack from SuperPro. I looked closer at what is needed to do the job...
Looks like a steering rack removal job. Am I correct?
The parts catalouge note is not the most uplifting Can anyone confirm please?

Never done this job I'd have a look on ih8mud in the 100 series faq if I needed to - pretty sure there'll be a howto on there.

Looking at the note Peter, it looks to me like they mean they have made the bush in two parts as it would be a bu99er to fit otherwise?
I'm paraphrasing here of course…

Hi!

Yes, it seems like the bushes are split. Resembling the Aftermarked Polybush style with "soft" halves & pipe inside.
The way I see it, physically on th car, it is a genuine paint to work on in situ, so best would be to pull th complete rack....
Got no time for that :-( :-( & I bet thats gonna come bck & bite me...

The steering rack "must" be pulled to doe the job.
At least there is not enough leverage with the steering coloumn attached to move the rack sideways to do the job in situe. Might as well just yank out the f*cker.
