SAMSUNGGalaxy Tab 2 7"

my wife wants one of the SAMSUNGGalaxy Tab 2 for her birthday which is pretty handy as i have been looking for something to use for a sat nav and the like. has any one been able to use this with things like memory map and maybe Track for africa? would this work, do you think you would need a extrnal ariel / does this tablet allow you to fit one?

I use a 10.1 for gps, works a treat.

No problem with mm other than buying the maps....

Shouldnt need an external aerial.

I use a Motorola Xoom 10" Android tablet with Alpinequest mapping software and MM. Works a treat.
Let me know if you need help with any 1:25000 maps...

Thanks alot guys sounds like you lot just found my wife her presant.i will need some help with the maps thsnks.
Now how do you combine that
with a lift kit.

I also use Alpinequest, it runs the old mm .qct files so I have the country covered.

The problem I have is going abroad, as I dont have the maps for Portugal downloaded, I can only get a 'live' reading when I have internet access and use the default world map.
