Hi, my name is Stuart from Western Australia, this is my second 80 series and I have had it for 3 years, had a 1HZ prior to that that I bought in '98 and added a turbo, but was always after a factory turbo engine. Transferred some of the goodies from the old one to the new, and added a few more.

I'm resisting fitting a turbo to my HZ, I like the simplicity of the normally aspirated engine and as I'm an old fart, I don't need a turbo

they last longer without one, tyre pressures and low range will get you thru most off road, hills and overtaking are a challenge tho

It's not short of torque, locked up and in low range it'll climb till all 4 corners are slipping (ask me how I know)
