After stuffing the VM into a hedge and rolling onto its side I've thought long and hard what to do.
Decided that when we get back off our trip to sell it as a rolling project, or if there's enough demand, break it.
As a project it would sell:
With an MoT until October (I think) 2019
No gearbox
No brake master cylinder fitted (got a couple knocking around)
Damage to:
n/s inner and outer wing
n/s snapped shock, mounts ok
n/s bent leaf spring mounts ok
Panels on front end all need straightening
Paint tatty all round
Excellent chassis: As new
Excellent engine (refurbished bottom end by George in Chesterfield. All new heads. Runs beautifully. Cold start advance on injection pump not working. 27-30mpg 110bhp
Spare engine ancillaries: Inj. pump (needs refurb), water pump, spare BNIB head.
Other bits and bobs.
No idea of the price. PM me with sensible offers.
Or breaking for parts all in good condition unless otherwise stated:
FRP top, black no head lining.
Fuel tank
Axles with rare low ratio K255 Diffs, front knuckles rebuilt 2016.
Brake system complete
Chassis, mint with V5 in my name
4 cylinder 2.5 TD VM95a Engine, ancilliaries, hoses. Strong, reliable. Flywheel and Clutch.
Clutch master and Slave.
VM to H55f Bell housing.
Radiator
All doors (fixed window frames) reasonable condition.
Body, very little surface rust. Generally excellent.
Two sets of wheels with perished tyres.
