Shocks and springs NON AHC

Can I use set of Monroe shocks with uprated Pedders rear springs on my 100vx??
Seems a good if I have to carry or pull the occasional load when Im in zimbabwe..roads not too bad even in the country areas.
thanks for advice..I am exploring all avenues as presently no available pedders set from ROUGH TRAX.

ps..Im in a hurry to get it done so can ship the car to zim..I think im ok now. Just the hard work from tomorrow..underbody cleaning before any dismantling..have got 6 days of my leave to do it.Must really than the guys who did my tank guard for FREE!What a club!
