hi Guys I have a 80 series 1993 auto
I changed the transmission fluid and cleaned the filter which has helped when taking off in 1st gear it's loseing power until it hits second gear
any ideas

Hi, how many kilometers has you 80 done? and is there any service history on the trans fluid changes? Have you keept any of the old dirty trans fluid? when you say "loseing power" I think your trans is slipping because you have removed the grip that the wear particals in the old fluid provided on the clutches, the new trans fuid is much more slippery and will cause the clutches to slide against eachother instead of gripping.

If your trans fluid hasn't been changed at the suggested Toyota service change intervals, with the correct trans fluid, and you trans has got to approx 160,000 Kilometers then you should not flush or drain to much of the old dirty fluid.
