Er, they've got different number plates?

To be honest Chas that is about the only difference yes.

Wheels black on one and black leather in the other. Milage less on the other as well.

Nice pair Karl.

Did you buy the new one off Stan or was he/new owner just visiting?

P.S. In answer to your OP, the new one hasn't got wheel spacers?

Are planning on buying up all the black 24vs Karl? Tell you what you really need to do is to find an immaculate '97 24v in blue and then post lots of pics...

Cheers Guys.

The answers...

The other one is also mine.myself and Holly had a drive down Dorset on sat morning. Let around 4.30 as I was a tad excited. Got down to SAMs and left my trailer at his then we went onto Poole to have a night there walking pop etc and having a paddle (I love the coast) went back to Sams yesterday then trailered the new one back.

Chad. The new one hasn't spacers no. It's also running standard tyres.

Gary. You know how I am with the black 80s

Rob. I may well just keep buying up all the Black ones we shall see :icon-wink: As for a mint blue one.....no interest. The only 80 I may buy will be for business with super low milage if I get offered one or as an investment. Maybe. TBH I never know.

Shane.Neither has black steps at the min but I'm on the case just for you with them :icon-biggrin: I'm thinking sliders need to go on mine and I like the idea of the standard steps incorporating the sliders but they WILL be black

Clive. Cheers mate. I'm quite happy at the min

His n Hers matching black cruisers? Now that's just getting out of hand.

I have the same idea for sliders when i get around to it and if you remember looking at Lincomb that Isoflex rubber solution i painted my steps with still shows no sign of wear at all . Can i throw a cat among the pigeons and say that chrome grill would be getting painted my favourite colour if it were my truck :icon-wink:

:laughing-rolling: Chris

Now that was mentioned. When I said I was getting it Holly said 'what do you need it for?' I told her I was treating her to it. Needless to say she keeps telling me its her truck now

Shane. I was looking at that stuff at the 4x4 show. Could do with a link if you have one. The stuff they had at the show was what they spray the back of vans with.
The grill on mine will be painted when I get my paint man to do a few bits I need doing soon.

B&Q mate it's for repairing roofs , power drill and wire brush to key the step paint Isoflex primer on , which if i remember correctly doesn't dry , then lash a load of the black stuff on and even it out with a throw away roller and leave the steps outside overnight . Mine could have been much better but i didn't know before looking up the spec sheet on the net that the rubber doesn't dry like paint , it reacts to damp and sets so the morning dew works great as it doesn't upset the finish then just hose them down .
