strange driveline goings on, help

My colly has just started to make a strange noise from what sounds like passenger side front
when in first and second gear if i accelerate hard then it makes what i can only describe as teeth jumping sound, if i pull away slowly it doesnt make a noise,
I drained the transfer box oil and the front diff oil but no sign of contamination just smooth clean oil, i spun the front wheel and couldnt see any noticable marking on crown wheel,

I removed the front prop and one uv joint has very minimal play which once attacked with the grease gun wasnt noticable, it now drives in rear wheel drive with no noises,

does anyone have any ideas what to check next

Cv Mate at a guess. When you have load on it it sounds bad then let off and no noise.
