The value of Preventative maintenance and accelerator cable question - 80 series

Today as I was doing a general clean up in the engine bay I noticed the accelerator cable (between the cruise control box and injectors) was lying a little low as it reached the “half moon“ (don’t know its technical name!)- see part A in the photo. Easy to adjust the level higher (nut on part B in photo) to avoid the rubbing.
But in doing so I noticed that the rubbing had in fact worn through part of the cable - see second photo. This was impossible to see without loosening the cable.
So first I recommend you check that you don’t have the same issue. The worn cable was well hidden and would have been a pain if I was on a trip.
Second, does anyone know where I can get a replacement accelerator cable?

Instead of buying a complete cable why not remove it and replace the inner with a repair kit, something like this. ....
