 if anyone is interested in a blow by blow description for the replacement of a timing belt on a 120 D4D, please reply and I'll knock something up. No photos though and they'd be of little use anyway, given that the space is fairly limited at the front of the engine. Words will have to do!

Did mine at the w/e, working 'blind' as it were, but got it done eventually. Well within the capability of any reasonable DIYer and no special kit needed.

oh go on then ;)
Want to do it again, this time with a camera handy? ;)

:o Funny. No chance. I've enough bruises on my arms to do me for a bit. Honestly, a camera would be little use as the space is too tight to get a meaningful pic from above. I'll give it a go with words. I need a day or too though as I've a stinking dose and need to shake it off. :violin:

did you reset the dashboard light?

I would love to see a copy of that write up when it's done too.
