Interesting article in todays Torygraph motoring section of a family
taking a Hyundai Accent to the western in Morocco.
So, do you really need a TLC for overlanding?

Hi Julian,
I thought the Torygraph article was very down-to-earth and
particularly interesting to me as I'll be on that route myself next week, as
I'm heading off alone to The sahara for a couple of months.
Do you know of anyone else down that way in Dec /Jan/Feb ?
Because of my upcoming trip I'd like to unsubscribe from the forum; I'm
using a handheld phone with internet capability and it'll be a bit expensive
receiving hundreds of Elco emails about flanges and widgets that I don't
understand .
If it's ok with you I'll come back on to ask advice if I break down as my
mechanical knowledge is zero !
Anyway, good luck with the forum, perhaps I can rejoin in March if my Colorado
is still in one piece .
Regards,Martin

Hi Martin,
Roman (red well kitted out 80) is on his way there around now and I
think Andy Bell was thinking of heading that way.
Also I think the two American couples who came to Salisbury are also
heading off to Cape Town in the new year, but not sure when.
No problem, just do it via the form on the website.
If you have any problems either email me to [Email address removed] or
call me on my mobile - 07971 540 362 and then I'll do what I can or
forward your queries to other lists.
Hopefully by then the new system will be in place, we shall see.
Have a great trip and we look forward to hearing all your tales on your
return.
