There’s bits of that that are really good and 2 grand isn’t silly money for it.
 
It's over the top but posted because it explains better than i can that dropside = floor space = comfort .

It seems a principal of huge potential largely ignored , imagine how the Landrover that started this thread might look internally had its builder included dropside in his thinking .

There was a 101 Landy at the Overland Show a couple of years back, he had two drop sides, which came down to form the "bedrooms" - seemed quite a neat solution.
 
In my daydreams seating and or cooker sink whatever could be fixed to the sides so roof height while folded .
