Valuation 3.0 Petrol 90 Series 1998

Hi All,

This is a question for a friend (His sisters car actually) - I have no idea about the value of 90 series (Im an 80's guy ).

Its a 1998 (S plate) 3.0 Petrol (dont know the mileage) but in just ok exterior condition - the rear axle needs brackets welding on etc - what would be an approximate value? - Is it worth the repair? Is it a scrapper or is there value in breaking it?

Is it a 3.o Diesel or the 3.4L petrol? Tested or not, stood up or running, mileage ? bit more info required but with what we have I'd say not a lot. When theres a Collie being broken the first question is after the back axle.

Thought the same as Andy , it sounds unloved , axle brackets are a known weak point and worth repairing if he/she wants to keep it failure does not mean the end is nigh .
