HI All,
I'm new to this site and not a Land Cruiser owner. I'm helping a friend who does have a FJ 40.
He is thinking about selling his FJ and needs some advise on what to ask for it.
Specs are as follows:
1973 model
approx. 75,000 mi on it
all original
it has AC (not connected but he has all parts)
Overdrive
a larger carb (he has original)
Condition:
Paint is pretty good but chalky
Top could use new Gelcoat
Headliner is falling down as is the dome light.
Upholstery is intact but old
needs a Batt and some fresh gas (its been sitting for a while)
Maint. has been top notch
Its been mostly street driven and when off road it has not been abused
It currently has street tires on it that are in good condition.
Any help on what is a reasonable asking price would be appreciated.
