Web design and Photoshop

Hey guys,

After hopelessly searching for a job and still not getting one I decided to create a job for myself.

I managed to convince a connection that she needs to revamp her marketing efforts. I gave my proposal and she's for it. I have bitten off slightly more than I can chew though.

I need to update her website and focus on digital marketing at the moment.

The problem is I do not know much about web development and if I outsource the work it would not really be cost effective. I have some idea and currently use Dreamweaver but my skills are limited.

Was wondering if there are any books or self teach tutorials that are good and would help me out. If I have to go for a course then so be it. I am not sure what line to follow though and would like some input as most of u guys are in the IT and digital field I gather.

Photoshop I am useless with but for my sins I used to do web stuff. Been out on parole for about 8 years but still dabble in it. Don't know of any courses but if you wanted some help or guidance, shout. It's pretty simple when you understand the basics.
