I agree with Shayne on this paint it Black, would give the 'gaping hole' look, about to swallow all in it's path.

Painting it will very likely affect it's efficiency - suggest you use plasti-dip so you can peel it off again! Halfords do a spray I think...

Thanks to everyone for your input, I shall try Matt blacking it all to see how it looks, and I shall also fit the 24v grill to see how that looks, then make up my mind. I have previously thought that it should be black, and glad to see the thought endorsed on here. I feel that unless you decide to dedicate the car over to " off road" it's a regular task to keep the thing "decent" for "overlanding" and that includes preventing the car from looking like a refugee from a "Mad Max" Flick more like David Attenborough documentary contribution. But it's horses for courses, thanks again, Bill Westley
