Rodney Hudson-Davies at Wholesale Automatic Transmissions is another great knowledge source and has been supplying Nomad Valve Bodies for the auto transmission of many trucks. He really knows his stuff and was very accommodating when I turned up to exchange a valve body. He told me that he's not seeing many UK customers at all any more [due to exchange rate] as freight is putting people off. However he's seen a spike in customers from Southern Europe. He threw in a bunch of old 4WD Action DVDs from his waiting room. Julian V is the distributor here in the UK. I also picked up a torque convertor lockup which allows the auto tranny to have the same engine braking as the manual downhill. They are moving around the corner soon to even bigger premises.
