Hi Pete, yeh its the 3.0 1kzte motor, the whole car is mint so I want to fit the right parts now but the toyota one is definitely the weak one, I have mailed a mate in Spain to see if he can find the head there as I dont want to do the labor part again,

With the BFG's I ran .8 - 1.0 bar (12-14psi) but on the Maxxis I ran at .5 - .8 (7.25 - 12psi) even lower on beach runs ... depending on the sand wetness the softer and warmer the sand the lower the pressure, avoided sharp turns descending. tyre pressure is king

not to hijack or start a debate in the wrong direction, in Cape Town on my two 4x4's I had used BFG, Coopers and lastly the Maxxis, they were the best when it came to cold wet weather and minimal chunking. does anyone know where can I find Maxxis?

South African born Dutchman.... yes why you ask? Fridayman... i had a trailer in SA and used it only on 4 x trips (2400km per trip) and had no problems with it, its used to get to the camp site and holds almost everything the wife and kids need, that always left the Cruiser ready to be used...
