I think it is some sort of relay. I'm not sure the 120 is canbus? When I fitted it about 3 years ago I was going to just splice into the rear wires but thought it would be better and easier to buy the proper wiring harness. It's been fine up-to today.

Trouble is most places are closed till the new year. Why do these things always happen at the worst possible time!

All the lights work fine apart from the indicators. I had to disconnect part of the towbar wiring and plug them back in directly. So at least I can drive it now. See attached for wiring of the towbar.

Mine is only a single socket.

Well I got the cover off by squeezing it in just enough to unclip the latch. Tyre was slightly deflated which helped. I also managed to remove the lock from the latch mechanism , will leave it to soak to see if I can free it up.

Any idea if the same kit would work on a 120? Description states 2010-2015 models. Can't find one for a 2005 model. Also can it be wired to only fold when double locking i.e pushing the key fob lock button twice?

Thanks StarCruiser. I'll go round and check all the bulbs later. Yes I do have towbar electrics which I fitted using the Toyota wiring harness, so has proper connectors.

No led bulbs anywhere. I think it's a bad earth somewhere. The problem went away since my last post, but funnily enough it did it again last week.

All fixed :dance: Luckily nothing broken. The bolt had just come out. Happy days.

Only the top spec lc5 120 has the air suspension, plus it has integrated satnav and heating controls which makes it impossible to swap the sat nav. I purposely went for the lc4 model when I got mine a couple of years ago, no air suspension to go wrong plus I easily swapped out the old radio/CD...

My offside indicators have started flashing quicker than normal. Thought it would be a dead bulb but all OK. Bad earth possibly? Other side is fine. Anyone else had this?
