    car in the garage to have a new brake pipe fitted so thats the brakes almost sorted. now for the surging and loss of power has anyone had any dealings with a fuel cut off valve? I've read that these can cause the same symptoms ?

    jake m i was having the same problem before i replaced the tank its just got worse ! i know when i took the handbrake off after being stood for 2 weeks they where stuck shayne so i just drove forwards then reversed then i could here it free up nearly parked it in the living room of this house...

    pickup pipes solid which is a big surprise :fearscream: tank all plumbed in just the straps to fasten up . having trouble with the fuel gauge now still reading 2/3rds full as it was when i drained it

    checked it with the multi meter on the ohms setting before i fitted it all seemed ok i can't weigh up why the fuel gauge is stuck in the same place it was before i removed the tank Andy?

    cheers guys useful info there. if it is the filler neck i will see if i can weld (out with the mig)a piece in, same if its the tank . just thinking about it would the air leak have to be after the tank ? between the tank and the pump

    i filled the tank up after putting the wynns additive in reversed her up the drive so she was slopping down the drive came out around an hour later big pool of derv on the floor . just hoping its not the tank that has rusted through
