    Diesel/petrol interchangeable parts

hi guys! Hope everyone is doing well and the trucks are doing even better. I’m sure there is a similar thread somewhere and I would greatful if you could point me in the right direction. However my question is - would the gearbox and diffs be interchangeable from a 1995 petrol 80 series to my...

Upgrading rim and tyre size - 80 series

thanks guys, I probably should have mentioned I'm running a fresh 75mm lift all round :relaxed: if I can score some cheap rims with a -13 offset then I will (-13 and -22 offset seem to be the most common) otherwise... I'm just going to go for it!!

Upgrading rim and tyre size - 80 series

feel free to direct me to the correct thread, but my question is - I’ve got a 1992 80 series and I’ve got the stock 31x10.5R15 rims and tyres on it, I’ve got my hands on a set of stock later model rims (16”) And I want to know has anyone used these rims with a set of 305x70R16s (or something...

    clutch time!

soooo.... unfortunately, this afternoon on my way home, my clutch started to slip in 4th gear. (as soon as I get to 2000rmp's she lets go) my question/s are, what time of clutch have you used? was there anything not included in the standard clutch kits that I should be ordering as well? and who...

    factory rear bumper mods

I'd like to get rid of the spare wheel from where it is any way.. and I rarely tow things, it's more for a recovery point then any thing else... I think I'll be saving my pennies and buying a rear bar with all these things included in it... all in good time

I figured that may have been the case. I'm not that handy with a welder so I don't see myself re-inforcing Ahh well, at least for now I can see when I'm reversing!

    factory rear bumper mods

I added some reverse lights to my factory bumper on the weekend (picture below). wasn't too much of a job, apart from I had to take the tow pack off to access the bolt holes for the lights., and upon doing this i thought to myself, I wonder if anyone has ever incorporated the tow hitch into the...

    80 Series Engine Conversion Query

whats your budget?? I'd just sit tight on what you've got, no upgrades, just have fun.. thrash it even (keeping in mind you might wanna sell it for extra cash) then buy a diesel. if you go down the conversion road (which I'd personally like to do if I had the time and money) you'd best buy...

figure I'd better round this thread off now, I've done over 2500kms in the big girl now, it's running like a dream! I think the new exhaust helps, and now I've got the boost and EGT gauge in now, it's nice watching how it runs. taken it on two 4wd trips also (only about 150kms each) thanks...
