Anyone know where I could acquire a clock spring for my 1996? Anyone know the part number I’m looking for? A U.S.-based source would be preferred, but that may be unrealistic. Thanks!

Not many 90 series cruisers in the US , what engine is it ?

I believe many components of the 90/95 series are the same as the 3rd generation 4Runner.

Had a feeling you might have posted in the wrong section so best to check , I've had two from ebay , should be part numbers here .

It seems there are three different versions (naturally) :

84306CABLE SUB-ASSY, SPIRAL
84306-12070(01/1998 - 05/1999)1€ 272.24
84306-35010(04/1996 - 02/1997)1€ 247.46
84306-35011(03/1997 - 12/1997)1€ 272.24

This is the part:

Got mine on ebay for about £30 i think , came from China\ originally i expect but then i'd not be surprised if Toyota buys them there as well .

Memory is vague but i recall buying the whole assembly used once because i needed to change headlight/directional indicator stalk .

Squib was identical but i couldn't use it because my loom had a female connector to match the squibs female .

Take yours out for visual reference while shopping and i don't think you can go far wrong .
