I am about to go look at a 95 which has a claimed 2'' lift.
My question is , will this alter the ride a lot from standard.
I have no plans to off road, and a lift would not have been on my shopping list, however, this vehicle has come up, and I was wondering...

1. Will the ride be much more swayeee around corners.
2. What is added / swapped to lift it.
3. Would it be possible to re lower it if i don't like it, would this be expensive

Most suspension lifts depending on the maker will actually make the truck a bit more stable with stiffer springs/shocks. He could be claiming a body lift there which is just a 2 inch body lift compared with a 2 inch suspension lift which consist of springs and shocks.

On a body lift - Spacers between the body and chassis are placed to lift the body 2 inches plus a steering column spacer.
Suspension Lift - Springs and shocks back and front are swapped for 2" longer ones.

Yes, it's a easy job to revert whatever lift it has back to standard. OEM stuff is pretty cheap and you may even get some money back on the Lift stuff.
