Not to everyones taste on this forum but thought i would offer it up here as well as the landrover forums. As you may or may not know these cars are no longer in production and the prices are rocketing!!


FOR SALE- Due to upcoming baby arrival. I have a lot of money tied up in this car and it only gets used to go to and from work so its time for it to move on

Would take cheaper Landcruiser/Hilux etc. in PX

My 2004 Defender 110 double cab
First registered 9/3/04
currently done 131500 miles
Brand new Factory 20p engine fitted at 69000 miles as well as turbo/clutch/flywheel etc (over £5000 receipt)
solid chassis
Is booked in for MOT on monday so will come with 12 months test


i have owned the car since 7/8/15 and i have done the following-

Fitted a set of genuine Matt Lee Mach 5 rolled rim wheels with 33/12.5/15 bf goodrich all terrain tyres
Replaced the tub rear corners and cappings
replaced both front doors with Puma steel rolled top doors
replaced complete wiper linkage and motor
replaced all brake pipes
replaced rear axle a-frame ball joint
replaced brake servo/pedal assy
Discovery 2 double cardon front propshaft
fitted modified clutch return spring kit
Fitted flip out DVD/CD player
Fitted full set of modified range rover classic grey leather seats (electric front)
BAS remap
Allisport intercooler
silicone boost hoses
modified exhaust manifold (refaced and webs removed and stronger studs)
Decat pipe/straight through centre pipe
Terrafirma big bore shocks
new rear half shafts /drive flanges
Stainless wheel nuts/locking nuts
New genuine springs (standard height)
Galvanised rock sliders
LED Lynx eye headlights
Full LED lights side/brake/indicator/numberplate light
Roof bar with 4 LED spot lights (switched)
ARB style bumper with 2 LED spotlights (switched)
genuine safari snorkel
Britpart cubby box
height adjustable towbar
Series 3 headlights surrounds
Personal fittipaldi leather rimmed steering wheel
Raptor sprayed rear tub

The bodywork has been tidied up and straightened to a reasonable state but not perfect as you would expect from a 12 year old workhorse. I have recently resprayed it in Satin black marine paint and although it isn't a bentley finish, it is very tidy and easily touched up if required

It also has unique security features which i won't go into on here for obvious reasons

which i think is a realistic price for this spec of car

Good luck with the sale. Looks and reads like a very solid LR and you don't see that many double cabs around:thumbup:

Yes!! ban the bugger, I've seen it a time or two, bumping pitching and wandering around the road with that, you know, haze of blue smoke following it.Not a Bentley finish?? thats an understatement, can be touched up with a roller would be more accurate a description!!
These people who advertise such monstrosities on a Landcruiser forum should be hung drawn and quartered preferably at a Lincomb meeting.

On a more light hearted note Paul, I'll see you in Tescos next time.
