As mentioned in my recent introduction, I have recently purchased a 2015 GXL D4D, from a dealer in Qld and had it transported to Melbourne. I picked it up from the transport company last Thursday. I drove it home Thursday afternoon and Friday morning when I was leaving for work, it would not start. Thought it was a dead battery, so called RACV. Discovered the battery was the wrong size and down a bit on charge, but this was not the problem. I noticed there was no indicator light in the starter button, the dash lights were not on and the steering was locked. I had it towed to a local Toyota dealer on Wednesday but, to date, they have not been able to diagnose the problem. Has anyone else come across this problem? The car problem not the dealer.
