60 Series owner

Good day all......
I've lurked for a while now and would like to say hi.
I'm the owner of a 60 series station wagon, which has been modified with a lexus V8 motor, modern gearbox, braking system etc etc.
It gets regular use, but for longer journeys use a Nissan Patrol, or motorbike.

Yes the V8 works really well and sounds quite nice also.
Sometimes it works too well, and the old chassis struggles a bit lol.

Very good guess on the location. Its a place called Hoedspruit in the NE of South Africa.
It borders the Kruger National park.

I'm not always around, as i work in West Africa on rotation, and flit between Europe and Southern Africa on time off.
