75 series engine swap

Hi there!
I’ve recently purchased a 1988 75 series and am looking at doing an engine swap. I’m looking at putting 100 series engine in... either the 1hd-fte diesel , or the 2uz-fe petrol. I just wanted to know if both options would fit. I would also want to swap the gearbox to the 5 speed auto. Please excuse me and be patient, this is my first ever Landcruiser and I’m very new to the whole modification universe. Thanks in advance

Hi mate

i cant help you with the engine, i guess depends a bit on youre budget. 1hdfte swap with loom gonna be pricy.... engine without labour starts at 12k.

What sonic said - 1HD's are exxy. Will fit with minimal effort though.
Petrol ..... unsure, but no doubt engine / box mounts would be different. Plus, it's petrol.
