Hi Jon,
Superb work, please put me down for one.

Hi Jon,
I initially used a 55mm Draper socket for the front hub nuts (now
replaced with Snapon one).
Anyway, I used an angle grinder to cut the slots in the side of the
Draper socket so now it does the fronts and the back and I only have to
carry one tool around ;-)
The downside of the Draper socket is that it won't fit in the hubs of
1995+ 80s, although I have taken some of the edge off to make sure it
fits some of the 1992-1994 hubs that are a little tigher than earlier
ones.
Considering you don't really need to go much over 47ft/lbs on the outer
hub nuts I suspect the Snapon socket can also be notched without
falling apart when used.

Hi Jon,
I find it fits well and like the multi function approach, although took a
little bit of trimming - having something that fits on 1/2" would be better.
It is a better option but I would be surprised if it fits - the rear nut is
about the same thickness as two front hub nuts and a star washer, but then
when you add the length of the three protruding bits I suspect that they may
interfere with the end plates.

Is this the same hub socket that fits the front hub? - ie the 54mm one?
Cheers

Cheers Jon
Took me an age to source a hub socket for the front -
Haven't done any work on the rear axel yet....
Will give you a buzz off line if I need one
Good work!
Niallo

Do these sockets fit the older or the newer hub, or both? Cheers.
