Hi Jon,
I initially used a 55mm Draper socket for the front hub nuts (now
replaced with Snapon one).
Anyway, I used an angle grinder to cut the slots in the side of the
Draper socket so now it does the fronts and the back and I only have to
carry one tool around ;-)
The downside of the Draper socket is that it won't fit in the hubs of
1995+ 80s, although I have taken some of the edge off to make sure it
fits some of the 1992-1994 hubs that are a little tigher than earlier
ones.
Considering you don't really need to go much over 47ft/lbs on the outer
hub nuts I suspect the Snapon socket can also be notched without
falling apart when used.
