John
I remember someone saying that adding a bit of brake fluid causes the seals to expand, stopping the leaks.
I've just had a look on the 80s-Cool archive, try:
http://www.birfield.com/modules.php?p=3D/archives/cgi-bin/namazu.cgi <http://www.birfield.com/modules.php?p=3D%2Farchives%2Fcgi-bin%2Fnamazu.cgi&name=3DArchives&query=3Dpower+steering+leak+brake+fluid&idxname=3D80scool&max=3D20&result=3Dnormal&sort=3Dscore> &name=3DArchives&query=3Dpower+steering+leak+brake+fluid&idxname=3D80scool&max=3D20&result=3Dnormal&sort=3Dscore
(Sorry Julian, in HTML to try to prevent text formatting garbling the link.)
This gives two possible solutions: Lucas "Power Steering Leak", and "a few ounces of brake fluid".
And in fact for anyone on this list who hasn't come across them before these archives are very well organised and, more importantly, searchable. (See
http://www.birfield.com/modules.php?name=3DArchive <http://www.birfield.com/modules.php?name=3DArchive&p=3D/archives/html/80scool/> &p=3D/archives/html/80scool/ (hope I typed that right, it's on a different screen)

| Hi Guys
|
| As I have said before my steering pump leaks and has done for
| four years. I
| would like to know if any one has had the same problem and if
| the additives
| work. Could I use silicon sealer at the leaking seal to stop
| the leak or am
| I being silly again. If any of you have any thought on it.
| Thanks
