finally found a Portuguese 80 series after many years of pondering :)

no rust except for a touch on the windscreen surround
the seller and his brother work for Toyota, all original parts
he says he wants to buy it back in the future,he now has two 100's for his pleasure

going out with some local friends today,it's a bit stormy, should be good fun
must remember to go round the water hole that swallowed a Range Rover whole,a few years back
i'll post pics when i can find the wife's camera

i bought an 80 to make me smile
it's working!

cheers

will meet up with Charlie[Mojo] soon,he can witness my new toy. wife's back from New York on friday, she's got the camera

you've got to learn to read signatures lads...

gona fit Cooper D's STT's 285/75 R16's [33's i think]
and OME sussies giving a 7.5cm lift

does that sound about right?
it'll be my everyday car

So is the 120 to remain your offroad toy ? something seems a bit back to front about that to me

the 120's a finished project mate,it was never meant to go off-road :)
but when i was recovering from injury it got me out and about

always wanted an 80 to park on my drive to make me smile, but could never find a decent one until now
it'll be my everyday car and off-road sometimes, which means everyday down here
the wife's on holiday so i need to buy food today as the eggs have all been used
i'm sure i'll end up on a few green roads today

this week it's;
tow bar off,barbie steps off,spare wheel inside,OME's on,tyres on,fix rear locker,fit snorkel,open first two exhaust boxes,fix rear window n/s,fix no.2 horn
door mirrow d/s,new air-filter

gona try to fit an intercooler from a Toyoya Dyna truck, any thoughts lads?

cheers

7.5cm OME's already on Clive, the original front springs weren't working at all

the others are 2001
it looks like it might need 35'' tyres
what's your thoughts on 35's?
