ADMIN Post - quoting and signatures

Hi All,
I haven't had any specific complaints yet, but to help with readability
for users on the digest mode and for the archives (work in progress),
please could you:
1. Only quote relevant sections of messages - quoting the whole message
just wastes bandwidth and isn't necessary.
2. Please could you trim your signatures to only relevant info (Dennis,
can you do anything about the company disclaimer?). Ideally please
provide your name, vehicle type, brief list of mods (if any), location
and perhaps a contact number.

Sorry Julian, my comment crossed my-over with yours above. One thing
though - prices displayed in text. I get .....
The cost is =A3610 for 12 valve or =A3620 for the 24
valve. Prices are plus vat.
Is that my software again? or is it cos a 'pounds' sign is used instead of
'GBP' or quid ? Or is it in Oz dollars I wonder ?

Hi Jon,
You quoted the whole of my message again - take one slapped wrist and go
to the back of the class.
It must be to do with some encoding issues somewhere - I receive the
emails via a couple of accounts and they come through fine.
The original messages were fine.
It would also help if people only sent text messages to the list, not
html formatted ones.
Don't worry too much for the time being - am developing a new web/email
based system that can clear out a lot of the crap as well as handle
attachments, etc sensibly.
