Hi Julian,
Sorry for the late reply but I have only just returned from Newport this
evening. Wow it is just as well that e-mail doesn't come through your
letterbox because I would be swamped what with 80scool,ELCO, personal mail
for me and her indoors I had sixty plus and have only time to scan them.
I would much prefer a WEB FORUM please, as most of this I just would not
bother with but with a web forum it would be much easier to be selective
with what you read especially if it were split into appropriate headings:
Tech, Chat, Vehicle Type etc. Sometimes the editing can cause confusion as
you can't work out who sent what originally especially when people don't put
signatures.
It is very easy for us to be critical sitting home when not involved with
all the hard work that you are obviously putting into developing the ELCO
site. If it were to remain an e-mail only site and grow exponentially then
it would just be horrendous as a lot of what passes by is mainly chat
between two individuals which could easily be done by private e-mail. If it
were just technical stuff then it may get by. I guess it depends on what
you want of it as it is your site, it could remain small and friendly (or
not so friendly) with every one knowing each other or very large, personally
I prefer a moderate or small size especially if e-mail based. I hope it
does develop to a web forum because if it gets much worse then I will
probably sign off because I don want 50+ e-mails that may or may not be of
use. Best of luck.

Subject: [ELCO] [ADMIN] Quick Poll
Please could you all try to respond to this one:
Bearing in mind the proposed changes, in future would you prefer to
access messages via email or via web forums?
[Note: If you opt for email you will also be able to access them via
the web when you want]
