Hi Chaps,
The truck has been sat for a few weeks, just ran her up for the MOT (passed no ads) but discovered the Air Con not working.
Clutch not engaging so checked power, only 0.02v when I switch it on (0.0 when off)
Is there a safety doofah stops power to the compressor if the gas is low? I ask since the compressor was taken off when trev fitted a new alternator and it's not been tested since, pipe mite have come loose/lost gas when it was wanged about. I looked at the sight glass but tbh I'm not even sure what I'm looking at, it looked kinda blue <shrug>.
Need to sort this within 3 weeks since we're heading off to Pyrenees.
Edit: found there is a couple of safetly cut off doofahs, so I'll pop it to the air con specialists next week... can't go Pyrenees without air con, far too uncivilised
