Sadly Pete couldnt make it due to work commitments,
but my family and I went out for our first green lane experience with
Petes texted advice.
We had a fantastic time!!! There was a fair amount of water, but not
enough to intimidate.
The route was pretty straightforward, and the LC was just fantastic.
We loved it, and for the first time the whole family could experience
the great British outdoors together.
So all in all a very repeatable experience.

Hi Renate,
The Hippo is not completely dried yet, although it is nice and clean inside now thanks to my friends labours, it's sitting in my garage at the moment with a fan heater on a low setting inside.
Do you remember I was showing an interest in your back number plate, I now have made a square one it just remains to be attached to the rear door and that will make it a lot easier to wire up the light than my original idea.

I will say that I was quite worried about the state of your vehicle that
day! and worried about you and what you were feeling. I'm glad you were
able to get home okay.
I wasn't able to make it to Pete's 2nd greenlaning day but am up for it
another time, and there is always the Salisbury day which should be a lot
gentler on us!
