Hi guys, I'm in two minds between BFG A/T and BFG M/T...

Anyone has a photo of their 90 series with either of these on? Will be going 265/75/R16...

Thanks!

Hi
We have m/t on a vehicle at work and its a interesting drive on the wet road ,a/t give you the best of both worlds ,
I have Goodyear MTR and these seem to be a good all rounder , dont forget the fuel penalty of the m/t tyres ,

ATB

We run the ATs on out Colorado on 80 series alloys - they're great

As I said in my PM to you my M/T's can be a little lively in the wet, but they are really not as bad as peeps make them out to be! So long as you remember that your driving a two ton 4x4 and not a Lotus Elise it's really not so bad and in the mud, snow & dry tarmac they really are fine

If I was looking towards A/T's though I'd be giving serious consideration toward GGAT2's over the BFG's and I've got to say that for an in between A/T and M/T tyre that Paul's resent Cooper S/T Maxx purchase looks very tempting

If your going for BFG then rather get the AT.
The MT can not really be justified for the short time that you will be "really off road"

The AT are surprisingly good off road, so don't discount them just for the macho MT look.

Graham

Ditto, what Graham says, they do look good and give you another inch of lift, but unless you use your LC like SAE (Steven) does I'd go for the A/T, I would next time !
As for driving in the rain/wet, they're absolutely fine, I'm impressed with mine so far I have to say, the only thing that bugged me with them initially was the road noise, however it's no issue now, may be they've quietened down or I've just got used to it

Oh, and I had to remove the front mud flaps and part of the plastic inner wing due to rubbing, which still occurs when on full lock and the springs compressed over bumps Etc. This happens on mine but not on Stevens, maybe caster angles or maybe the difference between my LWB and Stevens SWB, who knows !!
