Can some kind soul tell me how many litres / gallons a tank measuring 180 cm X 120cm X 120 cm would hold ?

Thanks your a star, how did you work it out ? maths was never my strong point,

Thinking about it i havent got any strong points !!! LOL

180x120X120 = 2592000 cubic cm
2592000 / 1000 = 2592 litres
2592 / 4.55 = 569 gallons

To make it easy: dm3 equals litres (Cubic Deci-Litre)

18x12x12 (litre)

2592 litres or 569 gallons

ooh that's a 10,0000 mile range from one tank :)

if you buy it in the UK that will cost you £3,654

in North africe it would cost about £520

you might need a trailer though a that tank is unlikely to fit under the boot floor.

Probably trailer pulled- you'd only need a 3.5tonne trailer :D

The weight of it full of diesel would be 2,125 kg plus tank. @20 c

Petrol it would weigh 1,910 kg @ 20c

Depends on the API gravity. During the summer, diesel will weigh between 6.951 (API 38) and 7.076 (API 35) pounds per gallon. Last winter, the diesel weighed around 7.206 (API 32) pounds per gallon. You can do the math to convert this to metric.

#yeah but you'd need a 3tonne trailer just for the weight of trailer!
