The winner, though was the Mako 9.5TDS - which has the same designation and appearance as the KingOne winch - aka David Bowyer's TDS Goldfish. So I'm still chuffed I have one of those
I don't recall anyone saying that Warn was junk in terms of performance. I remember saying that it pulled well, but that wasn't the issue. Let's see what the long term test results say when they have owned each of them in temperate climate for a year.
Even a cheap winch will pull you out of trouble in a test. But will it do it when you most need it?
