big end bearings

Hi Guys
Does anyone know who makes the big end bearings for Toyota for the 4.2TD

I would use Toyota ones. Each shell is graded to the crankshaft and has a number on it to give exactly the right running clearance. You order the correct number for each journal. ASAIK other brands will give just one size fits all.

Frank, not sure that actually answers Andy's question. He's not looking to replace the BEBS, he's already done that. The question is who MAKES them. Not who makes bearings that match the originals. Only Andy knows why he's asking. Come on Lord Laughton, what's on yer mind.

Of course my slave did it, my jam jar bottoms kept getting oiled up so I gave up at the 2nd bolt.
